LET US BOW DOWN IN WORSHIP

Psalm 95:6
Come, let us bow down in worship, and let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.

2 Chronicles 29:28
The whole assembly bowed in worship, while the singers sang and the trumpeters played. All this continued until the sacrifice of the burnt offering was completed.

What do you think of when you hear the word worship?

I usually think of singing songs. In my church we have a time of worship where the “worship” team plays instruments, songs and we sing. These scriptures have brought new meaning to the word worship into my life today. I feel compelled to spend time upon my knees praying and worshiping God. In the book of Revelations, chapter four, there is a description of what is happening in heaven around God's throne. Day and night the living creatures surrounding the throne are saying holy, holy, holy and the 24 four elders are continually falling in worship.

I am going to spend some extra time worshiping the Lord today, on my knees. Come let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
