Philippians 2:14-15
Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.

This is a command of how we are to live our lives as Christians. In order not to complain or argue, it will require that we take control of our thoughts as well as the words that come out of our mouths. Decide to shine like a star today; demonstrate self control in your conversations with others. If you do not have something good to say that will bring about a positive change in your life or others, perhaps it will be best if it is not said. Choose to edify yourself and others with your thoughts and words.

  1. Dear Father, help me today to say things that will edify my spirit and that of others today. It is true that sometimes I am caught up in excitment not been able to control what comes out. But today I ask for the Holy Spirit to be my guidance in helping me with my utterances. Polish and bless every word that comes out of my mouth today. This I ask in Jesus Name, Amen!

    Love you Jesus,

  2. I second that prayer...amen to that.

  3. going to keep quiet instead of saying rubbish
    making a 'U' turn

  4. Bless you Tisha :-) Our words are never rubbish in the eyes of the Lord. Especially when they come straight from our heart!
