VICTORY

2 Chronicles 20:21-22

After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of His holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: "Give thanks to the LORD, for His love endures forever." As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

We can have the victory over the troubles in our lives if we fight the battle God’s way. When we sing and praise the Lord we are releasing a spiritual weapon on our behalf to fight the enemy for us. Notice that when they began to sing and praise, that is when God began to bring the victory. This is not just a story, it is a major truth in God's kingdom. Sing and praise the Lord today and expect victory over what ever you may be struggling with in life.

  1. Do you know the song that goes, "In the Name of Jesus, in the Name of Jesus, we have the victory. In the Name of Jesus, in the Name of Jesus, Satan will have to flee..." I love that one. And I'm feeling as though singing it right about now - would be a very good thing!

May the peace of Christ rest upon you today.
