PREACH THE GOOD NEWS TO EVERYONE

 Mark 16:15
And then he told them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.

In today's scripture, Jesus tells His disciples to go into the world telling everyone that He paid the penalty for sin and that those who believe in Him will be forgiven and live life eternally with God. As Christ's disciples and followers our mission is to reach out to the world by preaching this Gospel to the people who haven't heard it, especially to the teenagers because they are the future.

The truth is reaching out to the teens of today’s world can sometimes be intimidating, and at times, out of our comfort zone. But I wonder what the world would be like today if teenagers reached for Jesus for stress relief and comfort, instead of drugs, alcohol or physical intimacy. What would happen if every teen was impacted by the witness of a Christian?

Scripture tells us that everyone will be accountable to God (Romans 14:12), even if they have not heard of Him, which is the basis for global missions work. But what about the mission field right in our own back yards? Are we really reaching out to those who are reachable?

As Christians, it is our duty to make sure that people become aware of Jesus, including teens that seem to need nobody but themselves. The people we encounter on our daily journeys can be a divine appointment, even an unaware soul, longing to be rescued. I want to encourage you today that as you and I grow in our personal relationship with Jesus, He will give us both the opportunities and the inner strength to share and reach out to an unsaved soul with the good news.

Reflections:
Do you feel you don't have the determination or skill to be a witness for Christ?
You must personally realize that Jesus rose from the dead and lives for you today.

Power verses:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,---Matthew 28:19

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."---Acts 1:8

if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.--Colossians 1:23
