Acts 4: 31
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
The Holy Spirit was given to reveal who Jesus is, that’s what he does. We see in this scripture, that they were filled with the Spirit while they were in prayer and the result was they then proclaimed the word of God boldly. Spend time in prayer today asking to be filled with the Spirit. Be encouraged to spend time studying the word so you will know it and can proclaim it boldly. Staying connected with other believers and praying with them will also strengthen you in the ways of God.

WHEN A MAN'S WAYS ARE PLEASING TO THE LORD
Proverbs 16:7
When a man's ways are pleasing to the Lord, he makes even his enemies be at peace with him.
Not long ago, I received a phone call from a relative who I had not been in contact with for quite sometime. She is the daughter of someone who has chosen not to speak to me as a result of some things that I did many years ago, before I gave my heart to Jesus. After we talked and caught up on what has been happening in each others life, she said, “there is a reason that I called you.” “I need to ask for your forgiveness for judging you.” She then explained to me how the Lord convicted her of wrongful actions and thoughts that she had towards me as a result of what the other relative had told her about my past.
In that moment of the Lord's intervention on my behalf, He revealed to her how much I loved Him and showed her that I am now living a changed godly life. She explained that when the conviction of the Lord came upon her, she periodically cried for several days when she would think about the situation. She also said that God put an urgency in her spirit to call me and confess her faults and ask for my forgiveness. The funny thing is, I didn't even know that she was harboring ill feelings towards me.
When I got off of the phone, I was so thankful to the Lord for bringing healing to the relationship and I also was encouraged to trust that God will bring healing to the other relationship also. With God, suddenly everything can change for the good; when a man’s ways are pleasing to the Lord.

THE LORD IS A STRONGHOLD
Psalms 9:9-10
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name
will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.
The Greek word for stronghold, means a fortress. A fortress is defined as a large fortified structure for the purpose of refuge. Often in ancient times it surrounded a town. It is comforting to know that I am surrounded with God's protection because I know Him and seek Him.
As I am thinking about the two words strong and hold, I think of how an anchor holds a ship in place when the winds and waves are toiling. It is the strong hold of the anchor that protects the ship from being carried away and damaged on the rocky shores. God's anchor is strong enough to hold our ships in place during life's storms. I also am reminded of the verse which says that no one can snatch us from God's hands; He has a “stronghold” on our lives. Whenever troubling things come our way, we just trust and know that the Lord is our stronghold (or, “fortress”) and He has a stronghold on our lives.

BEAUTIFUL FEET
Rom 10:14-15
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of
those who bring good news!
I am so glad that my mother told me about Jesus! Spend time in prayer today "more time on my knees"
is a good phrase to memorize. After you pray and spend time with God, go and share the love of Jesus
with someone. Anyone, it could be your colleagues, friends, parents, strangers on the bus or train. Make someones day today by bring them the good news of Jesus Christ!

WORDS BRING HEALING OR PAIN
Proverbs 15:4
The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.
I have two friends that I thought of as I was reading this passage. The one friend, when I think of her I get a good feeling inside. The other friend troubles me when my thoughts are directed towards her. The troubling thoughts are because recently she purposely did things to cause difficulty in our relationship. She lied to me and then got very mad and displayed a great deal of anger towards me when I tried to discuss the situation with her. She has done this on several occasions throughout our friendship.
Although she is still my friend, the thought of spending time with her does not thrill me because my spirit has been wounded. My other friend however has always been someone who has helped me through many difficult times. Her words are always gentle and kind. When I think of her there is an amazing amount of respect and love that I feel within. When I think of her, I think of Jesus. I look forward to spending time with her because I know it will be a time when my spirit is built up and not torn down.
What type of friend would you rather be, someone who brings healing or one who has a deceitful tongue that crushes spirits?
There are many things to think about here. The fruit of God's spirit, forgiveness, love, the power of our actions and the effects of our spoken words.

LIVING IN GOD
If you're not living in love, then you're not living in God. Of all the things that we hold as priorities in our lives, this should be at the forefront of everything we do. If we do not have it, then we are just clanging symbols.
1 John 4:16
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
My Pastor sums it up this way: "Love God, love people."
Take a moment right now to think of the people who are in your life. How can you express love to them today? Consider making a phone call just to let them know you are thinking of them. What about purchasing a gift card for someone you know is in need. An appreciation card or letter sent in the mail or by way of email is a great way to express love. Stop by a friend or relatives house just to spend quality time with them.
Living in God requires that we live a lifestyle of love. Make a decision to spread God's love through your life today to as many people as you can.

GUARD YOUR HEART
Prov 4:20-23
My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body. Above all esle, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
DEVOTION
We must maintain good spiritual health. When our heart is in distress, and we are upset, we must do all that we can to guard our heart. For God has deposited spiritual truths in our hearts for the purpose of sharing with others. Yes through you God wants to bring encouraging word to someone. Start with a prayer, this gives God the right to help us.
The bible says let not your heart be troubled but put your trust in God. Focus on Jesus rather than the troubling situation, as best as you can, this helps guard your heart. He has said He will never leave nor forsake us. Communication comes next because wisdom, at times, is found in the council of others. It is good to reason things out sometimes, being careful to not gossip or criticise. Let's try today to put a guard on our hearts and protect the call God has placed on our life.

BLOOD OF JESUS CLEANSING SINS - NONESENSE TO UNBELIEVERS
Unless there is a thorough explanation of why Jesus poured out His blood for our sins, unbelievers will be confused about the whole statement about the blood of Jesus washes away our sins. This type of "Christian jargon" can only be understood by fellow believers who understand why we are saved from eternal punishment because of the blood that was shed by Christ.
Matthew 26:28
This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
When we are witnessing to unbelievers, I think it is very important that they understand that we are guilty of breaking God's laws - laws which are summed up in the Ten Commandments. Don't steal, lie, commit murder, covet your neighbours spouse, take the Lord's name in vain. We are sentenced to eternal punishment in hell unless Jesus is the Lord of our life because we have ALL broken God's laws. It is very much like being guilty of committing an earthly crime and receiving the death sentence from an earthly judge.
Imagine if you were sentenced to death and someone walked in the court room and said: "Your honour, I'll take the punishment for the wrongs they have done, let them go free."
When Jesus was being beaten and crucified to death, He was taking the punishment for our sins upon Himself so that we would not have to be cast into eternal flames as payment for the sins we have committed. Thus He paid the price for our freedom.
This explanation of being guilty of a crime and having someone else pay the price for us will make a lot more sense to an unbeliever than if we tell them that the blood of Jesus cleanses them from all unrighteousness. If they don't understand why He poured out His blood unto death, the statement will be nonsense to the unbeliever.

ARE THEY REALLY SAVED?
Many years ago as a young believer, I was on s street ministry team. Every other Friday night we would go somewhere in our city to witness to strangers about the things of God. Oftentimes, we would sit and speak with people who would be plastered drunk, cursing, smoking and obviously living a life filled with sin. Many of them would profess that Jesus was their best friend.
How would people live if they have truly surrendered their lives to Jesus?
2Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
1John 3:9
No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
Galatians 5:19-21
The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
On night one of the street team ministry participants asked me: "These people who claim to be saved yet live a life filled with sin, are they really saved?"
I replied: "Only God will decide who will and will not enter into heaven for eternity. The one thing I do know though is that if Jesus comes into our lives, then Jesus should be flowing through us and coming out of our lives."

WHERE WILL YOU FOLLOW JESUS TO?
John 8:12
When Jesus spoke to the people He said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
Mark 10:21
Jesus looked at him and loved him. "One thing you lack," He said. "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
Luke 9:23
Then He said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny hinself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
Luke 5:11
So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed Him.
Where are you willing to go with Jesus?
What if you had achieved great wealth while following Jesus and suddenly He said: "sell everything, give it to the poor and follow me to a different place now," could you do this?
Are you sold out to Jesus?
Could you leave your job in an instant if He said: "we are going this way now, quit your job, leave your things and follow me."
Do you trust Him enough to do that?
Is your treasure on earth or in heaven?
What if your bills weren't getting paid and the house and car were being foreclosed on, would you still follow Him?
How about if you were whipped, flogged, beaten, and thrown in jail as some of the disciples were, would you still follow Jesus?
I wonder sometimes if our idea of following the Lord means that life will be in perfect order and there will not be struggles and trials. That's not what the Bible says in James 1:2 "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds."
Jesus' closest followers, His disciples were stoned, whipped, flogged, beheaded, crucified upside down, beaten, sometimes wrapped in chains and locked behind prison bars. In the middle of these types of situations they encountered angels and visions that reassured them that God was near. Don't quit on God when things get tough. Just keep following Him and He will direct your path. He never promised following Him would be easy, but He did promise to light the way that we should go.

HAVING A BLESSED LIFE
There are many keys in the Bible that will open the doors of blessing. Having a blessed life mainly comes from seeking after the things of God on a daily basis. Jesus told us to seek the Kingdom of God first. The blessings which come from God are a direct result of loving the Lord your God, with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
Psalm 1:1-2
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked nor stand in the way of sinners nor sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the Lord, and his law he meditates day and night.
Do you spend time in a prayer daily?
Do you read God's word regularly?
Is worshipping God something you do each day?
So how do we have a blessed life?
Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. That's the key to having a blessed life. Let's consider making some changes in our routine so that we can spend some quality time with Lord delighting in Him even more than we already are.

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD WE DEVOTE TO GOD?
I am always amazed at how much we talk about our husbands, wives, children, boyfriends, girlfriends and best friends, but we talk so little about God. In some ways this demonstrates how little time we devote to Him. Matthew 12:34: "For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks."
When God is number one in our lives our hearts will be overflowing with wonderful things to share with others on a daily basis. His praise will continually be on our lips.
Matthew 22:37
Jesus replied,"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."
Proverbs 3:6
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
How much time do you spend daily talking to God and about God to others? Take a moment to think about the things that are overflowing from your heart on a daily basis.
After writing this, I am convicted. Won't you join me and devote more time to prayer, worship and reading the word. He deserves so much more recognition than we give Him.

BEEN WITH JESUS?
Time with Jesus
When we have been with Jesus it is recognisable. The Holy Spirit within us brings a comforting presence to those around us. Our smile is seen as not just an ordinary smile, but one that releases joy. Compassion flows through us and people can tell we have been with Jesus. Take time to be with Jesus, make time to pray and read God's word today.
Acts 4:13
When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realised that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

AN EASY WAY TO MAKE TIME FOR GOD
There's an easy way I have discovered I can carve out some quality time to spend with God during a busy day. I get on my knees and pray!
Daniel 6:10
Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.
Acts 9:40
Peter sent then all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed
When we seek after God, we will find Him. It is during these intimate moments of prayer on my knees that I have real encounters with a living God. He comforts me during times of trouble and strengthens me when I am weak.
Consider spending some extra time on your knees focusing on God. Then consider doing it every day for a life time.

EARNESTLY SEEKING GOD WITH OUR SPIRIT-SELF
I was taught that we have a soul and spirit. Our soul is our mind, will and emotions. Our spirit is what gets born again and will live forever. If we are to truly connect with God in a deeper way, we must find the place in prayer where our spirit connects with Holy Spirit of God.
Isaiah 26:9 (Amplified Version)
My soul yearns for you (O Lord) in the night; yes, my spirit within me seeks you earnestly.
Earnestly:
Showing deep sincerity or seriousness
With a purposeful or sincere intent
Serious; determined
Isaiah separates the soul and the spirit of men in our Scriptures. Is it possible that there is another dimension of prayer that we are missing? We rush into our prayer time and pour out all of the things that are on our mind then we stop. But have we taken the time for our spirit to earnestly seek to connect with God?
Today lets consider taking some additional time to just be still and to earnestly seek God in silence. This will allow time for our spirit to really connect with the Lord once we have emptied our all of the things on our mind.

ASKING GOD TO HELP CONTROL OUR TONGUE
There was a time in my life I had to live with a verbally abusive person. One of the biggest challenges for me was keeping my mouth shut when they hurled insults at me. I was also experiencing Holy Spirit training for protecting the fruit of the Spirit. I wrestled with the scripture that says, "do not give the devil a foothold." I battled with not lashing back whenever they would belittle me. The scripture below actually became a reality in my life. As I continued to seek God during this time, He actually taught me how to keep my tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth.
Ezekiel 3:26
I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth so that you will be silent and unable to rebuke them, though they are a rebellious house.
Without the power of the Holy Spirit and God's word working in our lives, we cannot have control over our members, especially the tongue.
If you're dealing with someone who is constantly putting you down, seek God through prayer and reading the word. He will do a great work on the inside of you and teach you the real meaning of self-control. The other person may never change, but if you will seek God in this difficult place, He will change YOU He promises to complete the good work in you that He has begun.

BEIGN RESCUED FROM TROUBLE
In this life we will have trouble; the Bible is filled with troublesome situations. Jesus even said that in this life we would experience tribulation. We must choose to love God in order to be rescued and delivered from difficult situations in life by Him.
Psalms 91:14-15
"Because He loves me," says the Lord, " I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledge my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
How do we love God? The Bible says in the Gospel of John, Chapter fourteen, verse twenty-three: "If anyone loves me, he will will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him." Those words came from Jesus' lips.
We have been instructed also to love God with all of our heart, soul and mind. When we establish a love relationship with the Lord, then we will see him working in mighty ways on our behalf when we find ourselves in trouble.

THE KEY OF FAITH OPEN DOORS
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Matthew 6:34
Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Can we imagine just for a moment that we have a small door key in our hand. I believe that faith is the key in our walk with God. When we have our house key with us and the door is locked, we are not worrying about how we will get into the house. The same is true with a car door as long as we have the key to unlock the door, there are no worries.
Faith is just a decision that we make to trust God and not worry. It's a small thing in our hearts, but when we hold the key of faith, God can open many doors. We just keep earnestly seeking him and trust without worry that he is working all things for the good. Sometimes I just say out loud,"Jesus I trust you."

HOW TO HAVE SIMPLE FAITH
Making a decision to trust God with our lives is the way to have simple faith. It's just the decision to put everything concerning our lives into care of our loving heavenly father.
John 14:1
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.
He is big enough to handle all of our problems. He just wants us to trust Him with our lives. Apply simple faith today and make a decision to give God all of your burdens, worries and cares.

PROTECTION BY THE POWER OF JESUS NAME
In the scripture below, the Bible declares that there is protection by the power of Jesus name. So instead of asking God to provide protection, we should just thank the Lord for the protection available by the power of His name.
John 17:11
"I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name - the name you gave me - so that they may be one as we are one."
We do not need to ask for it; we just thank Him for the protection.

WITNESSING - TELLING GOD STORIES
A good friend of mine recently told me that I was instrumental in helping restore her relationship with God. Over the course of several months after we met, occasionally I would share a "God story". On a couple of instances, I made references to the Bible while we were conversing. Little did I know that she was being drawn to the Lord through my occasional witnessing about the awesome things God was doing in my life.
We met about six years ago and she is now in full pursuits to all that God has for her. She told me that if I had boldly started preaching to her with Holy Roller type stuff that she would have shut me out of her life and not been receptive to the message.
She did tell me that the amazing stories I would share about things that only God could have done caused her to hunger for the same type of relationship with Him. Every time I would make a reference to the Bible she would go home and look up the scripture.
2 Timothy 1:8
So do not be ashamed to testify about the Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.
What's a "God story"?
These are non-coincidental miracles that happen throughout our days as Christians. Some are huge supernatural events, like visitations from angels, and others can be simple things that only God could have made happen. I like to share them as general conversations to allow for them to occasionally fit in

LIFT JESUS HIGHER IN SUBTLE WAYS
We should always be looking for opportunities to give God the glory for things in our lives. If we can learn how to do this in subtle ways throughout various moments of our day, the Holy Spirit can begin to reveal to those around us who Jesus is.
John 12:32
"But I, when I (Jesus) am lifted up form the earth, will draw all men to myself."
There are times when we are to boldly proclaim the reality of our Lord to others and shout it from the rooftops. I believe that we are to be ready in season and out of season to speak to others about our best friend, Lord and Saviour.
To lift Jesus higher in subtle ways is like climbing a ladder one step at a time. Here's the key: we only take an occasional step higher on the ladder with those whom we interact with on a daily basis. Eventually, the many steps on the ladder we have taken will take us to a place of lifting the name of Jesus higher. During all of those steps, the Lord will be drawing men to himself through our obedience and willingness to be a witness for Him.
Ask God to help you lift Jesus higher. If you do this, I believe that He will begin to fill your mouth with words from heaven. your conversations will occasionally be seasoned with salt of the earth and Jesus will be lifted higher.

FOCUSING ON SPIRITUAL THINGS
Everyday we have a choice to either focus on sinful things or to follow after the things of the spirit. What will you be focusing on today?
Romans 8:5
Those who live according to their sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires, but those who live in accordance with the spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
In this time we live in, it's possible to be totally surrounded by the things of God throughout our day. We have thousands of Christian radio stations to listen to , many different translations of the Bible to read and have a book on every subject that we can think of on spiritual things. We have at our disposal more than enough to help us keep our mind set on Godly things.
Yet, even with all these great tools to help us, it all boils down to the choices that we make. We can either choose to walk in the flesh or choose to stay focused on God.
I like to find a quiet, solitary place and spend time in prayer there. This always helps me to get focused on spiritual things.

GOD'S MERCIES ARE NEW EVERY MORNING
Lamentations 3:22-23
Because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed - for His compassion's never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
The the key word here is His mercies are new every morning. The beautiful thing about God is, His forgiveness is available any time of the day. Psalm 100:5: "For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations." Because it is everlasting, it may be found at the beginning of each new day or in the moment we choose to repent.
Hebrews 4:6 say: " Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
His mercy and grace are waiting for us every moment of the day. When we fall into sin, we get on our knees before the Lord, repent and ask for His forgiveness. If we stumble a thousand times, we can come boldly, without shame, to the throne of our loving heavenly Father and receive new mercies every morning and every moment of the day.

MIRACLES IN YOUR HANDS
John 14:12
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
I believe that Jesus is telling the truth. I am not afraid to pray for healing because that is what Jesus did and healing occurred. I am not fearful of telling people that God is alive and real. Jesus did and many believed. You and I are the results of others sharing about God's love and goodness. I choose to put my faith and hope in the words Jesus has said, He said we would do what He did, so blind eyes and deaf ears become opened at our command. Don't be afraid to pray for miracles, there is a better chance of miracles happening when we pray than when we do not.
Prayer: God help me to become more like Jesus. Take away fear and fill me with faith and boldness. Place a special grace upon my life to win souls for your kingdom.
Thought: If one person came to Christ today because of your boldness, how many others might make it to heaven?

A FRIEND WHO PRAYS
Colossians 4:12
Epahras, who is one you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will for God, mature and fully assured.
I have a really close friend who prays for me a lot. Have you ever set aside an hour to pray? the most amazing things happen when we purpose to spend quality time through prayer. Something that I have noticed is that I begin to pray for many people, whenever I do this. I reach a point during this special time where faces begin to appear as I am praying for them. This usually happens after I've confessed my sins and then prayed for all my needs. The Bible is very clear about this subject, we are supposed to pray for one another. Consider spending some extra time in prayer today telling lifting up your friend's needs to the Lord.

PRAY CONTINUALLY
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
The important phrase of this scripture I would like to emphasize is "pray continually". Praying without ceasing in not something that we are naturally inclined to do, but we must persist to do it. the Lord often withdrew from people to pray. There are times when He would pray all night; He also declared that His Father's house is to be a house of prayer.
Consider making a commitment to pray for 10 minutes every day. Decide what you will be praying about and stay focused. For example, you may want to pray for your family for several minutes or the youth in your area, be targeted and stay focused. Check the time before you start and go!

BEING A NOBODY MAKES US SOMEBODY IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
A few months ago, I had an opportunity to really get upset about something. I had just become a member of my church and due to my rather zealous attitude and love for the work of God, most of the church workers had very expectations of me. It was the first church workers meeting since I had been there, and I didn't attend because I didn't consider myself a church worker. Instead the next day at church, one of the lady's was rather upset with me for not attending and had ago at me rather harshly and rudely. I thought to myself how there she speaks to me like that, I wrestled with my pride and then remembered how God works. In order to be a "somebody" in God's Kingdom, we must first become a "nobody" first.
Matthew 5:3
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
As I got a grip on my spiritual self and decided to let the situation go and become a team player rather than a complainer, the peace of the Holy Spirit came upon me.
Maintaining a humble attitude in the midst of trials like this one and allowing the Lord to be glorified in every situation is the key to being somebody in the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. Is there anything more important that that?
MAINTAINING SPIRITUAL HEALTH
Have you been maintaining your relationship with God and your spiritual health well? It is vital to the life of a Christian. When our heart is hurting, and we are upset, we must protect our heart. For God has deposited spiritual truths in us for the objective of us relating them others. Yes, through you God can bring a hopeful word to someone.
Start with prayer, this gives God authorisation to help us. The Bible says let not your heart be troubled but put your trust in God. Keep the focus on Jesus rather than the upsetting circumstances, as best as you can, this helps in maintaining good spiritual health. He has said(Jesus), He will in no way leave or forsake us.
Communication comes after that because wisdom, at times, is discovered in the council of others. It is lovely to reason things out every now and then, being watchful to not gossip or condemn. Keep a guard on your spirit today and safeguard the call God has placed on your life.
Proverbs 4: 20-23
My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
If we can remain in good spiritual health by guarding our hearts and remaining in God's word, our life as a Christian will shine brightly to all those around us.
