"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."

When he ( Jesus) saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field."
As we abide in God, and He in us, we begin to develop more of God’s nature. God has a compassionate nature. Compassion is defined as, loving sympathy or empathy. Begin to pray that God will open your spiritual eyes to see people the way He sees people, and to fill your heart with compassion for the lost. The scripture says that Jesus will make us fishers of men. Ask the Lord of the harvest today to make you a fisher of men. He will do it! Prayer is involved in harvesting souls. Jesus said ask. Spend some extra time in prayer today and begin to study about winning souls. Ask the Lord to send you into the fields.
